The colour sand is an art product intended for decorative purposes. We do not recommend our colour sand for the use of aquariums or vivariums with live animals, insects or fish.
The colour sand range is particularly effective when used in partnership with Transparent Powertex. It will create delicate detail you may struggle to achieve through dry-brushing techniques.
Our sand is colourfast however, as with any coloured surface, when used externally fading will occur through the effects of weathering and sunlight. Some colour leeching may occur during prolonged submersion.
