Master Tutor Course – Key Terms & Conditions

Programme Overview

• The Master Tutor Certification Course is a self-paced online programme designed to develop Powertex skills, create Masterclass workshops, and build a creative portfolio.
• The programme includes an online learning portal, feedback via Zoom, and email submissions.
• Modules must be completed and submitted for evaluation before progressing to the next stage.

Payments & Fees

• Course cost: £1998
• Payment options:
  • £1500 – Pay in full via bank transfer - if you select this option, you MUST pay via bank transfer
  • £1600 – Pay in full via debit/credit card or PayPal - please select the ONE TIME PAYMENT 
  • £1800 – 3 monthly payments of £600
  • £1998 – 6 monthly payments of £333
• Payment plans must be completed in full. Missed payments result in the remaining balance becoming immediately due.
• Payments are non-refundable.

Course Deadlines & Extensions

• All Modules must be completed within six months from the start date of Module One.
• Extensions beyond 12 months require an additional fee:
  • The difference between the price paid and the current course price OR
  • A flat rate of £500 (including VAT), whichever is higher.

Attendance & Participation

• Zoom sessions are pre-scheduled, and it is the Tutor’s responsibility to attend.
• Missed sessions will not be rescheduled, but feedback will be provided via email.
• Tutors must fully engage with the programme and complete all coursework.

Cancellations & Refunds

• There are no refunds, except in one rare case:
  • If a Tutor has completed the full course and not recovered the cost within 24 months, a refund may be offered after a review meeting.
  • Tutors must demonstrate active promotion of their workshops and Masterclasses.

Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

• All course materials are for personal use only and cannot be shared, copied, or sold.
• No recording of sessions or materials is allowed without express consent.
• Confidentiality must be maintained between participants.

Behaviour & Compliance

• Tutors must conduct themselves professionally in all sessions and interactions.
• Disruptive or offensive behaviour may result in removal from the programme without a refund.
• Tutors must not use the course to advertise or sell their own services without permission.

Late Payments & Account Management

• Accounts 7+ days overdue may have services withheld.
• Accounts 30+ days overdue may be referred to debt collection.
• Interest of 3% over the Bank of England base rate applies to overdue balances.

General Terms

• The Academy reserves the right to modify or reschedule the course as necessary.
• The Academy is not liable for technical issues, unforeseen events, or personal circumstances affecting progress.
• This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
