Fabric Sculpting Training

FABRIC SCULPTING TRAINING 

This course will ensure you have a thorough understanding of Powertex Universal Medium as a fabric hardener.  

On completion of this course you will be confident in product knowledge of the full range of colours including Transparent Powertex, what they look like and what they are capable of. You will understand the history of Powertex and the legalities of the registered trademarked brand along with your responsibilities of operating under the brand.

Plenty of examples, demonstrations and swatches are used to provide you with a rich learning experience and ensure you have knowledge of the complete creative process from armature building to adding colour. 

You will complete three core projects (additional ones are included if time permits) which include a variety of techniques to incorporate mini projects, figurines and dry-brushing with pigments. 

Learn all about Powertex Universal Medium - the wonderful technique and application of Fabric Sculpting, and how to run successful Fabric Sculpting workshops. All projects will be yours to take home.  

All materials and refreshments included. Please bring your lunch with you each day.

On completing this training you will receive an official Powertex Tutor certificate and will be permitted to use the Powertex name when promoting your work.

After completion of the Fabric Sculpting course, you will receive a trade discount.

After booking your training, all details will be emailed to you by our Office Manager (this email is not sent automatically) sometime between Tuesday and Friday so please be aware there may be a small delay in receiving your confirmation.

Cancellation policy

By booking, you reserve a physical place on an in-person training course. Materials, preparation, venue hire and tutor time are committed well in advance. For this reason:

All bookings are non-refundable.
No cancellations are accepted at any time, for any reason. This includes non-attendance for any reason, changes in personal circumstances, or requests made after the course date has passed.

If We Cancel

In the very unlikely event that we need to cancel or postpone a training date, you will be offered either:

• a full refund or

• a transfer to the next available date.

This refund covers the course fee only.
We cannot be held responsible for any additional costs you may incur, such as travel, accommodation, or loss of earnings.

Date transfers:
A date transfer may be offered at my discretion if requested at least six weeks before the scheduled training date. Transfers are not guaranteed and depend on availability. Additional fees may apply if the course price has increased.

Late changes (less than six weeks):
No transfers or credits can be offered once you are within six weeks of the training date.

Price changes:
If the course price has increased between your original booking and you later request an approved transfer, the difference will be payable.
