MDF
Good quality MDF makes an excellent surface for Powertex projects. As a base or for embellishments, MDF pieces will enhance your mixed media work. You can paint Powertex straight onto MDF, fabric-sculpt, apply structure paste, rice-papers, in fact, anything you wish! If you are using MDF for outdoor projects, ensure the whole surface is covered with at least one coat of Powertex to protect the wood from the elements.
